Donna M. A. Harrington is a local singer songwriter from Scituate, Massachusetts, USA. She has been singing, composing music, and writing songs most of her life. She started singing in childhood and continues to this day. She writes songs faith, love, the ocean, life on the coast, and stories that inspire her. She loves singing most styles of music, expecially sacred arias, chants,’Christian hymns, and Irish songs ( link to listen). Donna has been an instructor for decades, teaching beginner to professional voice instruction, voice coaching, composition, and songwriting. She also teaches beginner guitar and voice. She is a passionate educator and loves to help artists reach their goals. She started teaching voice, songwriting, and guitar in her late teens, continuing teaching throughout her college years while working full time in finance and business management. In her youth, Donna started singing in the church choir at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Scituate, Massachusetts. She began classical voice studies with Paula Carroll, the church Choir Director. She continued voice studies into her adulthood and has sung in church choirs most of her life, and enjoys singing every day. Her years of experience, daily practice, and voice studies have built a strong foundation of knowledge. She has dedicated years in professional classical voice studies, popular voice methods, private instruction, professional expert courses, performance, and college education majoring in music, fine art, and business studies.

Some of the factors that helped shape her own unique voice methods include a vast knowledge of vocal techniques and custom vocal scales, specialized vocalises and breathing exercises, and a custom blend of popular voice techniques combined with Italian classical and Latin sacred music. She is blessed with an ear to hear your voice in fine detail from your strengths to areas to build upon, all while preserving and enhancing your natural, unique voice.
